What we store
Your email address (that's the account), your dog's profile as you entered it (name, breed, age, temperament, focus areas, and the safety questions), the training sessions you log, your weekly plans, and your conversations with the coach. If you turn on reminders, we store a push token for your device and your chosen reminder time.
How the AI coach works
When you message the coach or close out a week, your dog's profile and recent training logs are sent to Anthropic (the AI provider) to generate the reply. That's the whole pipeline — your data is used to coach your dog, not to train anyone's models and not for advertising.
What we never do
We don't sell your data, share it with data brokers, or run third-party ad trackers. There is no analytics profile of you being built for anyone else's benefit.
Where it lives
Data is stored with Supabase (Postgres, hosted in the US) and the app runs on Vercel. Both are standard, reputable infrastructure providers; access is scoped so only your signed-in account can read your rows.
Deleting your data
Settings → Danger zone → Delete account removes everything — profile, dogs, plans, logs, and chats — immediately and permanently. No email required, no retention window.
A note on safety
Neil is a training aid, not a substitute for professional help. If your dog has bitten, guards resources, or panics when alone, the app will point you to certified in-person professionals rather than coach it — that's by design.
